Lynex

Step-By-Step Guide to the Lynex Testnet Campaign

Lynex - the liquidity marketplace building on Linea - is running an incentivized testnet campaign on Galxe, now extended through September 20th. There will be 1,000 winners who will receive a share of a $10,000 prize pool. Let's take a look at the tasks, along with my tips and tricks for completing them easily.

Campaign Section One: Social Media Tasks

The first section of the Lynex campaign includes social media tasks that should be familiar to those who frequently complete Galxe campaigns. You'll need to follow Lynex on Twitter, Discord and Telegram, as well as like and retweet a specific tweet from Lynex. You'll finish by clicking through to Lynex's own testnet article and guide pages, which may also help you while completing the next two sections of the campaign.

Campaign Section Two: Basic On-Chain Tasks

It's worth to mention again that this is a testnet campaign, so you'll be using test funds on Linea Goerli rather than real crypto for these tasks. If you don't have Goerli ETH on Linea, you can use you favorite Goerli faucet (such as Goerli Faucet) and bridge funds to Linea on your favorite testnet bridge (such as Cashmere) to have some test assets on the Linea testnet.

You'll begin by swapping some of your ETH into another asset. You have several options on the Lynex swap page, but it's important that you choose LYNX as the asset to swap to as you'll need some LYNX specifically for other tasks in the campaign.

Next, you'll head over to add some liquidity to a pool on Lynex. If you don't already have additional testnet funds on Linea other than ETH and LYNX, you'll need to head back to the swap page and use a bit more of your ETH to swap to another, third, asset. I'd recommend taking a look at what pools are available with LYNX; I ended up choosing to add liquidity to the LYNX/WETH pool using some of my new LYNX tokens because I already had WETH due to my previous testnet activities on Linea. Follow the prompts to create and add your liquidity to the platform, and you'll complete the last two Galxe tasks in this section of the campaign.

Campaign Section Three: Advanced On-Chain Tasks

You'll first step here will be to lock up some of your LYNX on the platform. The Galxe task currently links to the wrong page on the platform - you'll need to head to the lock page on Lynex and follow the prompts to lock up your tokens for this particular task. Once you have some of your LYNX locked, head over to the vote page and choose which pool(s) you'd like to vote for. Allocate your votes up to 100% of your voting power, and then click 'cast votes.'

Finally, you'll need to claim your rewards. This will take a little time to update; I'm not sure what the schedule is for new epochs for this platform, but I simply waited a day and went back to claim my rewards. It's important to note that the Galxe quest links to the rewards page where the claim button is currently not working. Instead, you can go back to the liquidity page and claim your rewards there through the 'claim all earnings' button.

And that's it! You've successfully completed the Lynex testnet campaign on Galxe! Be sure to get these tasks done before time runs out, then head back here and let me know if you're one of the lucky winners!
