I had to take a brief break from my blog series on earning specific cryptocurrencies for free due to heavy work hours at my 'real life job,' but I'm happy to be back and continuing with this project! Today, I'll be focusing on my top four ways to earn Zcash ($ZEC).

1. Earn Zcash on Global Hive
Global Hive is one of my favorite faucet sites as it's one of the few that pays directly into your wallet each time that you use it. No need to wait until you hit a minimum threshold for payments, and no gas fees! The concept behind Global Hive is simple: you can check in once a day to withdraw, and you are rewarded for maintaining a check-in streak with gradually higher and higher payouts over the course of five days. On the fifth day, you'll also get a bonus roll. You can also increase your payouts by making your faucet runs while using the Brave Browser and connecting some of your social media profiles.
2. Earn Zcash on FaucetCrypto
I took some time off from FaucetCrypto for a bit after they had an extended period of time earlier this year where the vast majority of their faucet offerings had run dry. But it appears that things are back on track with this site, and I've added them back into my daily rotation. You can claim from the faucet once every 30 minutes, and view about a dozen or so PTC ads a day easily. Zcash is a good payout option from this platform as it has one of the lower thresholds and low withdrawal fees.
3. Earn Zcash on PipeFlare
PipeFlare is a platform with a lot going on: faucets, games, airdrops, NFTs, and more. Certain aspects work better on the web version than on the app and vice versa, but it is convenient that there are several ways you can run the PipeFlare faucets each day. Currently, PipeFlare has three free faucets: one for Zcash, one for Polygon, and one for 1FLR (the platform's own coin). Like Global Hive, you can run the $ZEC faucet once a day, but you'll get paid out in batches, usually about once a week or so.
4. Earn Zcash on FinalAutoclaim
Final Autoclaim is a bit slower of a faucet site, but it can still be a good option if you have the time in your schedule to make it worth your while. You can run both the regular faucet (for the site's point system, referred to as 'Dutchy') as well as the monthly coin-specific faucet every 30 minutes. The withdrawal threshold for $ZEC is fairly low if you're using FaucetPay, or a bit higher if you wish to do a direct withdrawal to your wallet.
Summary of Earning Zcash for Free
These are my current favorite four ways I've found to earn $ZEC for free. Are there other free ways you've found to earn Zcash? If so - I'd love to hear about them, and referral links are always welcome in my comments!
