Hey there!
I'm super excited to share my first day of sophomore year XD. Since childhood I never wanted holidays to end especially the summer ones because I dislike summers alot and prefer to stay indoors the whole 3 months but for the first time I really wanted to go back to uni eventhough the city of my uni is ten times as hot as my hometown.
My first day of my sophomore year was very different from my freshmen year. I started my day by making breakfast for myself while last year I had breakfast at the cafe and I ordered a little too much and couldn't finish it. Maybe I was anxious about my first day at uni but this year i was relaxed. Then when I left for my department all the sweet memories that I made the previous year with my friends flashbacked in my mind and this made me more excited to see them and have fun again. Standing infront of the department gave me goosebumps. It made me realize how quickly time passes. Just a year ago i was having goosebumps seeing the building thinking will I even make it through and there I was, already a year done with it. It also made sad because I had grown to love my uni alot and I have just 3 years left. I have never loved a place like I love my uni. Ha ha this all is really strange to me too.
Just when I was about to enter, a junior grabbed my arm and asked me if I was from there. I replied yes to which she asked me to sit together because she knew no one there ( she mistook me for a freshmen). That was a funny experince because when I told her I'm her senior the smile wiped away so quickly from her face and she began to apologise. She was of the idea that I would bully her but I assured her that our department was free from this disease. Our department has a very good environment especially for female students. Although females are outnumbered, they are given even infact priority over other students.
Our classes finished early that day so the rest of the day was spent guiding the juniors and giving them tours around the uni. After the chaotic day me and my friends had a meetup at our favourite cafe and spent great time together. It was really fun.
