1 BTC Project - Side Quest #2: Hyperliquid.

Back in March of 2025, I completed my first side quest. I became and still and the owner of 1 BNB. After stacking a complete BNB I moved onto the next side quest to stack Solana. This quest got interrupted one fine day when I was attending a luncheon for a company called HYLQ Strategy. What this company does is it raises money to buy HYPE tokens. I could not figure out what it did besides that, there was some confusing conversations about building the app economy or something.

The main selling point for this company is that HYPE token, the native token of Hyperliquid is difficult to buy in Canada. This may be true especially if you are stuck using a large exchange like Coinbase, but while enjoying my appetizer I logged into my KuCoin and swapped the small amount of SOL into HYPE immediately.

According to the gentleman with the silver tongue Hyperliquid and HYPE token are one of the fastest growing tokens, and yes HYPE has been climbing the ranks. At the time of writing it is ranked the 16th token in terms of market cap. So I decided to stack a whole HYPE token. Which I speed ran.

I now own a full HYPE. We will see where it goes. Hopefully 3 or 4 X from here, but in any case I am going back to stacking Solana and HYLQ is a dumb company. This goes into the Kucoin Defi pot and may help with the yeild farming.
