1 BTC Project - BNB: A forever hodling?

In March of 2025, I managed to cap off my stack of 1BNB. I understand that this isn't really in line with the 1BTC mission statement, but I think it will pay dividends (pun intended).

Since March the price has doubled. Smart play by yours' truely.

BNB is the native token of Binance. What does that mean? I don't really know. I do know that Binance is an exchange, and exchanged make money through dealflow. What is the biggest exchange with the most visibility on their innerworkings and financials? Coinbase of course! So if we compare publicly trade Coinbase shares with BNB token (assuming this is a valid comparison) we should get an idea for scale.

At time of writing:

BNB coin marketcap: $179,460,291,012 USD

Coinbase marketcap: $91,730,000,000 USD

BNB is about double the marketcap of Coinbase even after the monster run up over the last month.

Binance 24H trade volume: $35,855,616,733.28 USD

Coinbase 24H trade volume: $4,255,726,402.09 USD

Binance does over 8X the trades in a 24h than Coinbase.

Therefore I think Binance is overvalued, especially compared to its publicly traded peer.

Can it go for an 800% run? maybe. but 100% up from here is probable.

What does this mean for me? Well I am hodling my BNB token forever. I am using Kucoin earn features to drop BNB shards into my account daily. I have been using those BNB fractions to buy Solana. I will continue to use BNB as the prime mover on my Defi holdings. As BNB starts gets a rerating from being undervalued my reward will grow.

I do believe in Binance and BNB. It has paid off and will continue to pay off daily. I am excited to get to 1 SOL so that I can pump all the interest back into BTC. Even though this was a bit tangental, it has paid off and will continue to pay off.

With Bitcoin being at all time highs, I think using online earning methods will continue to work but at a much slower pace. Its important to use all methods you can, while still being at appropriate risk levels.
