It appears that the market has adjusted to Trump's style, where "crazy" headlines mark a typical day.
Chinese tariffs are likely real to some degree. Mexico and Canada too (eventually). But much is bluster.
The US Sovereign Wealth Fund is likely to buy crypto -- maybe even $ETH.
Within this environment, let's act like degens and go shopping for bargains.
1 $OndoFinance
$ondo is the only major coin with something approaching a -20% in the annualized funding rate across major exchanges.
That's the threshold, historically, for "overly pessimistic" outlooks.
2 Reserve Rights ($RSR)
They're deep into the DeFi + RWA narratives. Currently, the coin is trading just above its 200-day simple moving average (red line).
This is among the best risk-reward coins of the ones we track -- assuming that you do sell when it closes below the SMA 200.
Looks like about 1:20 asymmetry at the moment
3 Curve ($CRV)
This is a DeFi staple. It shot up in November with anticipation of Trump's new policies, but has nearly made a "round trip" since then.
Currently, it sits just above its SMA 200 (red line) and a historical support zone.
This one also has a risk-to-reward ratio of about 1:20.
4 Concluding Thoughts
I'll note that our wallet has taken even more Smooth Brain actions -- such as buying $Luna on $virtual. Why?
Because that thing tends to hold at better than $30m in market cap and has reached better than $160m. Currently, it's at $21m.
Is that a smart buy? I have no idea, but a smooth-brained degen would do it. All of these coins have similar rationals: nice asymmetrical possibilities, but the overall environment that we're in is risky.
