Despite much debate over the Libra project, Facebook is still seriously looking to hire experts to ensure that the cryptocurrency can continue to grow and thrive. According to the Irish Times, Facebook plans to hire 50 unique employees by the end of this month for its subsidiary Calibra. It is noteworthy that Calibra is a wallet for the digital currency of Liberia.
This is interesting given the prevalence of coronavirus, which has halted millions of jobs. Of course, it is assumed that the employees hired during this critical period will work remotely. Lara Morgan Walsh, Calibra's chief operating officer, said:
During this period of global uncertainty, we are still investing in our team based in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. We are seriously hiring experts in the field of fraud detection, intra-organizational control, human resource management and customer service to develop our operational team that supports the Calibra wallet.
Libra has recently stated that it will use the rules it has traditionally opposed. That's why it has now been revealed that Libra has tied its survival to Fiat currencies. According to the developer team, in the Libra payment system, each stock exchange is specific to a country, and there is a separate cryptocurrency that converts it into other currencies. Although this view is not very different from the original idea, it does guarantee that Libra will not only exist as an alternative cipher on its platform.
