New rumors circulate in the technology market, social media giant Facebook is developing its server chip. Technology companies have tried to reduce their reliance on the market's top chip producer Qualcomm and Intel. If the rumor is proved to be true, the name of Facebook will be added to the list of self-reliant organizations to produce the chip.
According to the technology site The Information, Facebook is producing a computer chip for its data center. According to the report of the site, Facebook is developing multiple chips. One of these processors will only look at machine learning issues.
One of those chips from Facebook will only work with the content recommendation algorithm and the other will work on improving the quality of the live-streamed video, the publication said.

It is said, Facebook chips will not completely replace computer chips made by other companies at the outset but will work side by side.
A Facebook spokesperson did not provide any direct answer in this regard.
