Officials from the South Korean Ministry of Interior and Safety stated that torrential downpours triggered landslides and floodings across the nation, resulting in at least 6 dead, 7 missing, 6 injured, and about 360 others homeless. Local media reports say that many residential areas and roads have been damaged, and much of the damage is localized to the Seoul metropolitan area and the central region.
