The brahminy myna or brahminy starling is a migratory bird and every year visits Pakistan. Brahminy Starling is a member of the starling family. Brahminy Starling is a very beautiful and colorful bird and usually lives in small flocks. They are found in open habitats and in plains. They are commonly found in urban areas' gardens and sometimes travel in the company of common starling.

In Islamabad, I saw this bird around Rawal lake. They are shy of human presence so to photograph them, I had to take a cover of the car. They mostly travel into thick bushes. They are very photogenic and look beautiful on camera with black crest and yellow bill.
