I was browsing Reddit this morning and I stumbled upon a Redditor's question. That question being; Where are Scrypt Algorithm miners directing their hash rate in May 2020? I found this to be an interesting question, and I provided my conclusion that literally took a few months to reach. Here goes...
I find Prohashing smashes on all of them (the mining pools) if you are mining the alt coins (DigiByte, Verge, GameCredits) on the Scrypt algorithm. I get Prohashing to pay me out in ETH, BTC, and DGB. I love how they let you do that. I tried them all; BTC.com, Poolin, Litecoinpool, Zergpool, Mining Dutch, Zpool, F2Pool.... I feel that if you are strictly mining only Litecoin (which I do not believe is the most profitable), then I would have to say based on recent personal experience BTC.com or Poolin is the best. Litecoinpool, Zergpool, and F2Pool are second best, and I stay away from Mining Dutch. For some reason ZPool is really popular but if you look at what you pull in in a 24 hour period and compare it to BTC or Poolin it's not that great.
HOWEVER, I mainly mine DigiByte on Scrypt as it has been more profitable than mining Litecoin. I find Prohashing allows me to mine the most profitable coins on the Scyrpt algorithm (as they use multi-coin switching and they automatically switch your hash rate to the most profitable coin at the time) and I customize my payouts to be as follows; 59% Ether, 40% Bitcoin, and 1% DigiByte. I often toggle with payout percentages, however after testing this shit out since February 20th whilst in quarantine with nothing else to do, I have concluded that moving forward, my hash rate will be directed to Prohashing.com.
Happy mining!
