Currently google reports that there are 2.3 bilion smartphones in the world running Android. That does not take in to account other devices such tablets, tv boxes, car multimedia and so on. And with this popularity it is good idea to use a recycle bin application to prevent accicental loss of files and keeping your data very secure. There are multiple different solutions in the Google Play store that are just few clicks away from your device.
Here is my list of top 5 applications. The order is not important:
File Commander 
File manager with very intuitive interface. It has Recycle Bin option, but most of the functionalities are saved for the premiuum version.

Recycle Master 
Takes backup on everything on your phone. It is with very clean graphics and works very fast. It can restore anything you deleted.

DiskDigger Paid free: 
Awesome app that provides cloud storage for any deleted files so they take no place in your device's memory. It comes with a price for the Pro version, but there's free app that is especially used for photos and videos.

Dumpster 
Probably the best choice for many users with multiple options, does not require root to operate normally and it can restore literally anything you could possibly want.

Cx File Explorer 
File Manager app, that stores anything that you delete within it in the built in Recycle Bin. It also can help recovering any accicentaly deleted files.
