I have had the honor and privilege to meet some of the most amazing people in my 40 years of life.
I have spoken to Senators, Congressman and Congresswoman, media personalities, millionaires.....
My name has crossed more committee members concerning veterans than any other veteran that I know.
From Bush, to Obama to Trump my name has crossed their desk and all but 1 have stepped into my case to provide relief.
To date, my story had made it across the Atlantic to the E.U., Russia and England...
I have been interviewed by National Press to include Politico, Daily Caller, just to name a few... I have testified before Sexual Assault Panel in Washington that was held by the Department of Defense....
I stood with IAVA on burnpit related illnesses on behalf of the 4 million who deployed to Iraq and Afganistan.
Local media have interviewed me and told my story on VA Failure in how they handled my case.
My case was the subject of Inspector General investigation into Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Since Bush, every named Secretary of the Department of Defense, Department of the Army knows my name and story. United States Criminal Investigation Division senior most personal know me by name.
Yet, in all of this I am astonished at the lack of progress in the U.S. Military and Department of Veterans Affairs handling of cases like mine.
I met a man online.
He has a nice voice and is single... (I am married) but we kind of stumbled into one another.
He retired... I listened to him tell his story.
Like me he was falsely accused of sexually assaulting a female. The female said he touched her on the shoulder.
Immediately, I went back to my deployment... at one point we had these things called "shower trailer's". On top was a black container of some sort that held the water.
It was a co-ed shower. Yes men and woman naked in the shower. Are you surprised? The showers had dividers so we couldn't see each other but still.
At no time during deployment did any female say that a male did something inappropriate. We all behaved rather well despite being sex deprived down range. I bathed with Captains, Officers like CW3... these are warrant officers.. many pilots... 1st Sergent also. Even lower enlisted like me... nothing...
I explored this as he was talking....
He went threw hell because of this girls accusation.
It still seems that the Army is not doing very well on these cases. They trash the men that are innocent, they convict the women who didn't lie about rape. The sword is double.
Yet, our President clears the guilty but condemns the innocent.
He has stepped in for more cases involving military than he has in helping veterans.
There are many, many veterans both male and female that could use a hand from this Administration. But, here we are again where we only matter during Election year.
The Whitehouse VA Complaint Line has logged so far: 2,461, 749 complaints since its introduction in June 1, 2017. Let me show you what that looks like.
The Department of Veterans Affairs only serves a little over 9,000,000 veterans out of 18.2 million veterans. Right at 50% receive help. Out of 9 million, 2.5 million had a problem with VA from 2017 to now. This equates to ruffly: 76,930 complaints EACH MONTH. 9 million divided by 12 gives you...750,000 served per month.
I then show you that based on these numbers, an approval rate for the VHA/VBA is 90.25% per MONTH and 9.75% disapproval rate.
I am in the 9.75%.... Why would the VA need to do better when 90.25% of veterans approve?
They don't. This a double EDGED sword....
If you are in that 9.75% speak up and speak out.
2.5 million can change the double standard presented by Department of Veterans Affairs.
