PALM OIL PLANTATION

PALM OIL PLANTATION
MALAYSIA
The first commercial palm oil cultivation in Malaysia was done in 1917. Today, the country owns about 4.2 million hectares of oil palm plantation, which is less than 13% of the total land area.

Witnessing how this palm oil was planted and harvested is an extraordinary experience to me. This "forest" is the humble starting point for many high-tech products. Enjoy!
