Restless, like a caged bird, My heart beats, an unheard word.

Thoughts racing, but going nowhere, A feeling of unease, hard to bear.

My body is tired, but my mind won't rest, My spirit is yearning, to be at its best.

A need to move, to break free, From the chains that bind me.

The world is wide, and I'm so small, A tiny speck, on this spinning ball.

But my dreams are big, and my heart is strong, I know that I'll find my place, before too long.

Until then, I'll keep pushing ahead, Breaking down barriers, one step at a time, instead.

I'll take risks, and explore the unknown, For only then, will I truly have grown.

So I'll embrace this feeling, of restlessness, And use it to fuel, my own progress.
