The morning sun rises, so bright and fair But the call of the bed, is too much to bear

I try to get up, to start the day anew But my body is heavy, and my mind is too

The thought of work, and all the tasks ahead Just makes me want, to stay in my bed

I close my eyes, and take a deep breath But before I know it, I'm asleep again

The clock ticks on, the minutes pass by But I'm lost in dreams, and can't help but sigh

My mind is clouded, my thoughts are a haze As I drift in slumber, in a peaceful daze

But then the guilt, begins to creep in I know I should be up, ready to begin

The day won't wait, for me to catch up I need to get moving, and fill my cup

So I muster the strength, to sit up in bed And shake off the fog, that clouds my

head I take a deep breath, and stretch my limbs And slowly, I feel the energy begin

The day is new, and the possibilities endless I rise to the challenge, and face it with readiness

I'll take it one step at a time, and give it my all And before I know it, I'll be standing tall.
