If you miss travelling: Winter wonderland in Ontario, Canada

By PierreL | My Work | 6 May 2020

I am lucky enough to have family in many countries around the world, mostly thanks to my wife, and that is a privilege that I try to use as much as possible as I have always loved travelling our planet.

Last year, we spent a week in February with my sister in law who lives near Toronto, ON, Canada. Toronto, Guelph, the Niagara falls, all of that in February is a true winter wonderland... And, as a videographer, I had to record it, as I do all my trips.

I must say I was disappointed by the Niagara falls. Not the falls themselves, extremely impressive especially when they're partly frozen, but the whole "Vegas-like" life surrounding it (in the Canadian side anyway, as I don't know the US side of it yet) really takes the magic out of the place. They belong in a closed off and protected national park, not in the middle of a vibrant city filled with tourist attractions.

Anyway, for those of you who miss travelling or miss winter time, I hope you'll enjoy this little minute of both, to escape from today's lockdown reality:
