Gammy sent me this pic today while I was at work. Apparently it was raining.

I had no idea. It was overcast in St Louis but we only got a sprinkle about 2:30 or so.

This lake, viewed from our side window, is 2-1/2 or 3 feet deep at the end of the street. The water is almost up to bottom of the door of the neighbor's pickup.

Had that blue Honda parked on the street rather than in the drive, I'm sure water would have been over the seats and part of the way up the seat backs.

This is out the front window looking to the right. That step going to the neighbor's house is a good foot above the street.

At some point, the city was kind enough to put out a warning sign.

That pile of sticks and limbs on the right came from a storm we had Tuesday.

That storm had knocked all of our deadfall out of our tree. And one of our neighbors lost some smaller limbs.

All this water was gone by the time I got home.
