It's the after effects of the Coronavirus that concern me

I'm not here to debate the dubious origins of the virus. Research that yourself and be sure to also use sources other than the MSM. (Especially check the zerohedge story that was squashed by Twitter).

If this indeed turns out to be a pandemic, I'll catch it or I won't.

If I catch it, I'll survive or I won't.

If I don't make it, I have nothing to be concerned about. I'll just be going home albeit not the way I had thought. That may be a story for another day.

If I do make it, what will be the outcome?

A lot of the things we consume originate in China. From what I have read there are as many as 56 million people in forced quarantine there. That's about 1/6 the population of the States. I surely think that would seriously cut into productivity.

If this problem moves stateside, farming will subside as well as transportation, energy, medicine.

Remaining city dwellers will either be mired in a situation where their evacuation is unlikely or they will make their way to the countryside possibly infecting the remaining populace.

In the end, when the world's population has been decimated (this actually means to be cut by 10%) what will be the result?

Famine. Pestilence. Murder. Rape. Theft of remaining commodities. Incidental poisoning due to tainted water and food stuffs. Nations fall.

There will probably be pockets of people that will survive but nobody will trust any outsider.

These are just some of my thoughts on the matter.
