The first thought that comes to mind today in regards to crypto is that I think SBF got lucky. 25-years in prison is a lot, but he will not serve all of that time, it will be reduced. I mean, stealing billions and only getting 25-years. He is one master manipulator. Good on him and his lawyers for getting a great sentence that he did not deserve.
Another thought, I have enjoyed my crypto portfolio having grown with all of the investment in various coins and tokens in profit of unrealized gains. With that said, I am a bit disappointed that we did not have a little longer to buy so low. I mean, getting Solana under $25 was amazing, getting Cardano at .24 was spectacular, and getting Bitcoin in the $20,000's was a dream come true for an investor that got into the crypto game within the past two years. Oh well, I am not buying much if at all on the way up, just my thought, not investment advice.
I can't wait until the Ripple and Coinbase suits are done. I am hopeful for a pro-crypto outcome. I don't think I am drinking the crypto Kool-Aid on this one. I think there is too much info to suggest the SEC will be in the wrong in the long run. Time will tell.
I have enjoyed the ride on the crypto learning journey. Though it is noticeable that no one really wants to hear about or learn about cryptocurrency among the people I know. I don't know it this is commonplace, but I suspect it is. To be honest, they are in the spot I was prior to finding some interest in cryptocurrency. To rehash for a second, A little more than 2-years ago I was calling cryptocurrency "monopoly money." Now, I have learned, and it is a valuable part of the world.
Finally, I am enjoying the literal beginning of spring, and the metaphorical crypto spring that is upon us!
