News broke today that PayPal has expanded it's foray into cryptocurrency!
Apparently PayPal launched a service that allows users to sell cryptocurrency via MetaMask (which is apparently already live) and other digital wallets. Here is an article that outlines this information: https://cointelegraph.com/news/paypal-enables-users-to-sell-crypto-via-metamask
I have to say I love this for several reasons.
1. It is some good news amid all of the significant and ongoing bear market for cryptocurrency.
2. It allows individuals a way to offload their cryptocurrency by selling through their digital wallet using PayPal.
3. In the short and long term it further entrenches cryptocurrency into the financial culture. The more mainstream it is, the more those who have invested and who are investing in this long-term bear market will be rewarded.
I have not yet used this feature, do not know if it supports all cryptocurrencies, or only a few, and if all wallets will be supported.
What I do know form looking at cryptocurrency from a global or general perspective is that this is really good news. I am observing cryptocurrency and see all of the negative out there. If you look closely, the negatives are really (in my opinion, not financial advice) suppressing many cryptocurrency prices. I believe many are very undervalued at this time.
I mean, we know what Bitcoin was at it's ATH.

All I know is that this is good news and part of the building of a cryptocurrency foundation in society. This bodes well for the future. I am not sure which current cryptocurrencies will survive and thrive in the future, but I know cryptocurrency as a whole will.
