I have finally met with the friend I was talking about in the previous two posts, titled Conversations with a friend. 

He was generally interested in cryptocurrency, or at least hearing about it from a former never crypto'er to a firm believer that it has a future. 

At first, I told him i was not trying to convince him of anything, that I was not there to "sell" him on the value or importance of cryptocurrency. I told him I wanted him to see what I was thinking, and see why I was thinking it. I showed him the account I use, I showed him the various cryptocurrencies I had invested in, and the COIN app, where I make extra cryptocurrency.

I also told him I get nothing out of it, I did mention that I may get a referral bonus, that cost him nothing, and that he would get a referral bonuse as well if he so chose to go down the cryptocurrency path.

Now, by the end of the meeting he chose to download the COIN app and Coinbase. I am not sure how much he did with it, or how much he uses it.

He expressed frustration about his timing in the market, and that he did not believe he could get the return on investment that I did. He saw I was up nearly four times on multiple cryptocurrencies, and down nearly 20 percent on a few, with being up nearly four times as a whole. I showed him staking, and what it meant. I do think, in the long run investing now will bring a good return on investment, just not the one I got as I entered the market when everything was down 80percent form the highs of 2021.  He did, and does have a good point on that.

Anyways, I was happy to see his thaw regarding crypotcurrency, as he stated "it is everywhere."

Here's to the future. I predict he will eventually invest in some cryptocurrency, but I think he will be late to the party, and miss out on todays prices, and I predict he will do it through traditional retirement investing that has ETF.s.
