Conversations with a friend. Part 2.

In my last post, I wrote about the possible change of heart from a friend who was previously anti-crypto, or at least a friend who was "I have no time for that" type of crypto person. Well, we had some further discussion about my thoughts on cryptocurrency.

At the beginning of the conversation he stated something that  I think will eventually be the story of many new cryptocurrency investors. He stated, "I have been hearing a lot about crypto" and noted he was interested in investing, but was unsure about taking the risk with his money.

We discussed that I was not giving advice about whether or not he should invest in cryptocurrency, that he needed to decide for himself. I was lucky enough to invest at a time where I have already tripled my investment due to buying in at recent lows for many cryptocurrency projects. We also discussed why I chose to take the risk, and why I am slowly accumulating more coins and tokens, which ones, and my thoughts on HODL'ing vs buying and selling the dips.

After we had the discussion, I think he was definitely interested but really hesitant to take the risk. I think he will hold off in buying cryptocurrency for a few years due to this. However, I do think at some point everyone will own cryptocurrency at some point in the future.

Also, he wants to meet again soon to look at the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase to discus how it works and to get a better feel for it.

Cryptocurrency is a fascinating idea, one that has many confused, scared and dismissive of the concept. However, it also is intriguing and likely a large part of the future.
