I am happy to have learned, and even happier to understand how important this dismissed lawsuit against Coinbase is for the future of Cryptocurrency.

I had heard about this case a few months ago regarding Coinbase. Apparently, a group of Coinbase customers had sued the crypto exchange. They had accused Coinbase of selling unregistered securities. As a result of the customers belief that Coinbase sold unregistered securities, they in turn also accused Coinbase of being an unregistered broker-dealer of securities.  

THE LAWSUIT WAS DISMISSED!

All I know is that this is a significant win for Coinbase and crypto currencies in general. Had the judge ruled in favor of the customers, they would have defacto stated cryptocurrencies were securities.  That would not have been good.

In legal terms, this means the suit cannot be brought again. To me, that is another win for cryptocurrency as a whole.  

Apparently, approximately one-month ago a similar case against Binance was also dismissed. Again, that was good news even though I did not read about it until today.  

Brick by crypto brick all of the good news regarding cryptocurrency will help to rebuild and then strengthen public trust in cryptocurrency.
