Animation has been seen for the most part as something you just watch. Video games use animation, but they are not the same as our favorite cartoons. So how do we find a way to step into a middle ground between games and shows? Our answer to this was community.
Starting with the community we build up an expanded universe, similar to that of Star Wars in its heyday, back when fans could tell stories set in their world, and have some of it even be considered canon!
But our expanded universe exists in an animated world, one we want to open to our community and our team to play in, tell stories together in, and grow together as an ever expanding world of animated shorts.
But we wanted our most dedicated fans to feel a sense of ownership over this animated sandbox. And NFTS, and their underlying smart contracts became the first true opportunity for us to offer that.
Through our NFT collectibles our supporters gain VIP access into our Community discord, into the channels where our team work, share ideas, share art as they concept, build new ideas, new stories, all to fill our show and expanded universe.
Internally our team gets to bite off these small manageable shorts and produce them themselves with one entire work day a week dedicated to developing these shorts.
Our goals for a thriving community.
Our Live story-time events invites our NFT supporters to join in on our development. While our team gets to create these shorts our NFT supporters can join our Live Storytime events where we work together live to come up with hilarious dialogue, ridiculous events, and flesh out an idea for an animated short THAT WE WILL ACTUALLY PRODUCE!
These shorts of course feature the communities NFT characters as they live their zany lives in our depraved world of adorable creatures trying to survive a satirical tyrannical ruling class of Candies.
When the NFTs are featured we can update their meta data to lock in an Episode name, and time code adding to the NFTs collectability and giving our community a more intimate tie to our world!
This all culminates in our goal of a more inclusive experience in our Animated series, where the surrounding expanded world of animated shorts alongside our main show, develop our world in new and wild ways WITH our community.
We have come so far. We have grown so much.
Animation is a passion for our entire team, live streaming much of our work on our ideas, and trying to make a new space for shared animated universes! And we have a track record of every step we took to get here. One we are happy to share.
I have been honing my world building, developing my artists skill, making strides in my animation , and building our company alongside Natalie, and Mike. After animating on Dan Harmons’ “HarmonQuest” and losing my job on ”The COPS '' due to Louis C.K’s. misconduct, I wanted to build a company in a different way, a vision Mike and Natalie have both stood by me on.
Natalie has been developing characters for all our shows ( as seen on https://TwitchPixel.com) and has expanded her skills into animation, environments, video editing, storyboards, animatics and so much more.
Michael Murphree, has been making music and laying soundtracks his entire life as a hobby, telling stories through his art and animation, founded and grew Gaming Wildlife on Youtube, and has been helping us since 2014 trying to do something new in animation.
We want to create a new space for animation to thrive, that compliments our favorite worlds, and grows into the larger meta verse that is coming from the ether of our ideas, and blasting onto the blockchain! And foremost build a lovingly passionate community, who wants to frolic with us through the world of Unicornitopia!
This is how we see the future of our company, community, and artists. One where we can help foster and grow these talented people, alongside a passionate community supports them!
