"Dark Waters" is a judicial thriller that exudes tension and denunciation in every scene. Directed by Todd Haynes and based on an article by Nathaniel Rich, the film follows the tireless fight of a lawyer against one of the largest corporations in the world. Mark Ruffalo shines in his role, playing a man whose quest for justice puts him in the crosshairs, risking his career, family and life.

The film tells a true story that could be just the tip of an iceberg of criminal corruption and negligence where corporations put the health of consumers at risk by knowing the effects of their products in order to amass fortunes.

Now the only question is whether the States are negligent in their regulations or directly complicit in the game.
