The game Town Star has 2 servers, the "Free" server, and the "Weekly Competition" server.
In other words, you can play in a sandbox mode to practice and have fun or to play in a competitive mode.
The competitive mode resets every week and opens for 5 days each time.
In this mode, you can earn rewards for your final place in the competition.
If you are one of the lucky winners you'll get your reward in GALA coins and it'll be added to the wallet inside your GALA games website account.
So what are the rewards?
In May GALA had a massive event that was called May Mayhem, if you were lucky enough to compete this month you may have earned some good cash even if you finished at the 300th place.
Sadly, May has ended and the rewards are back to normal, hoping such events will occur more and soon.
(BTW, to stay updated about those events I recommend entering the game discord channel).
Please notice, the average number of players in each competition right now is about 4500 and the game layout resets every time so it's a fresh start to anyone every week, meaning that getting a high place is pretty realistic, at least at the moment.
Those are the updated rewards at the moment:
- 1st place - 30,000 GALA coins
- 2nd place - 20,000 GALA coins
- 3rd place - 16,000 GALA coins
- 4-10 places - 6,000 GALA coins
- 11-20 places - 2,000 GALA coins
- 21-50 places - 1,000 GALA coins
- 51-100 places - 800 GALA coins
Gala coin worth is right now about 1 cent so you can remove 2 zeros from those rewards to understand the price in USD, please take into count that GALA is a rising project and when I wrote this we were in a bear market so those GALA's may worth much more.
