How Much Can You Earn Staking Ethereum?

With Ethereum positioning to switch to a proof-of-stake (PoS) model later this year, holders of ETH are naturally wondering what the rates of return will likely be once the transition is made.

While it's generally accepted that 32 ETH will be needed to host a node, those with a smaller holding will not be excluded thanks to initiatives such as Rocket Pool - covered in more detail here on Publish0x by Moj Kripto - who will allow those with as little as 1 ETH to join a staking pool and receive interest on their stake.

Calculator

A new free to use staking calculator, ethereumprice (produced by Activate CodeFi Networks) allows people to input the amount of ETH they wish to stake to see an indication of what the return will be over the course of 10 years.

Simple to use - just enter the amount of ETH you envisage staking and hit the 'calculate' button to see the forecast in graph and table form as well as handy, quick reference 'Result' panel that shows what the amount of ETH staked would be worth in 1 and 10 years.
