What will be in it for the young woman to marry the older man?

Lets look at Annie’ Life

When she was 21 the community allocated Charles a 51 year old male for her to marry.

Now Charles had a good job, a nice car and house and a good life insurance and retirement policies.  Once married Charles also took out life insurance on Annie.

When Annie turned 25 she had 2 kids. This was the maximum children any couple were allowed to have in the community.

As soon as the kids were born a Study policy, were taken out on each kid and by the time they went to college these policies matured and each kid could get a good education.

By the time the kids went off to college Charles retired and because he had planned well for retirement he had no worries about the future.

Annie also took up some studying and through hard work was able to work herself up to a senior position in the company she worked for. 

Charles died when Annie was 48. And because of the insurance policies that was in place Annie and the kids inherited well.

Annie was alone until the community allocated 23 year old Henry for her to marry.  Henry brought the vitality of youth into the relationship and Annie brought the experience. With Annie’s support and tutorship Henry was able to complete his studies and get a good job. Annie and Henry enjoyed life till Annie died at the age of 79 leaving Henry a well of Middle aged man with everything he needed to carry on .

As you can see there is a lot to gain with this lifestyle model but it will be important that the whole community buys into this and that everyone stays within the rules.

Next time I will elaborate a bit more and look at exceptions to the rule.
