California Crime Wave

California Crime Wave

By Deejo | Thinking-Out-Loud | 25 Oct 2021

At the same time that California politicians are so concerned that everyone follows their unconstitutional COVID mandates and are shutting down businesses, they don’t seem to care that crime is spiking.

Businesses are closing because criminals have become blatant and are just walking (or running) out of stores with bags full of merchandise. Many are blaming this crime hike on Prop 47, which changed certain thefts from a felony to a misdemeanor.

It is possible this contributed, however, it was passed in 2014. My hypothesis is that the crime boost as of late is caused by a few things…

  • California’s Prop 47 changed stealing less than $950 worth of merchandise or property to a misdemeanor and not a felony.
  • Democrats’ attitude towards justice in recent years. (The liberal cities don’t seem to care about upholding the law.)
  • The Increasing number of homeless people in California.

Watch this video to see some of the blatant crimes… The California Crime Wave that is Closing Businesses. Walgreens and CVS are closing some of their stores because they can’t continue with all the shoplifting that is going on. As I said in my article California Everywhere this is what the Democrats want the U.S. to look like.

It’s time for change... POSITIVE change.
