Scalping Is Not for Humans (Literally)

Scalping Is Not for Humans (Literally)

Scalping is the fastest form of trading: in and out in seconds or minutes, grabbing tiny profits per trade.

It's also the most stressful.

To scalp effectively, you need:

- Lightning-fast execution (delays = losses)

- Rock-solid discipline (one emotional trade can wipe out 20 winners)

- Iron nerves (because you'll lose on 40–50% of your trades)

- The ability to handle extreme pressure (your heart will race constantly)

Scalping is basically a battle against brokers, fees, slippage, and your own adrenaline.

Most scalpers burn out within months — not because they're bad, but because the lifestyle is unsustainable.

Here's what nobody tells you about scalping:

❌ You need near-perfect internet connection

❌ One second of lag can cost you 5% of your trade

❌ Fees eat up a huge portion of your profits

❌ You'll be glued to screens for hours with zero breaks

❌ The stress affects your sleep, mood, and health

If you're new to trading, please, do NOT start with scalping. It's like learning to drive in Formula 1. Start slow. Learn the market. Then, if you still want to scalp, do it with a tiny account and see how long you survive.

Spoiler: probably less than you think.

The traders who succeed at scalping are not human — they're machines. Literally. Most profitable scalping is now done by algorithms and bots.

Ask yourself: can you compete with a bot that trades in 0.001 seconds?

If your answer is "yes," you're lying to yourself.

My advice?

Start with swing trading. Learn to read the market. Master your emotions. Then, maybe, try scalping with a small amount you're willing to lose completely.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

Have you ever tried scalping? How long did you last? Drop it in the comments.
