I’m pretty proud of the crypto I’ve brought in this month, I definitely feel that I’m moving in the right direction in building up my income streams. With no further adieu, let’s get into how last month went.

Mining: Desktop $6.17, Planets (550= $71)

This month a couple of things all came together. The first of which was that I figured out the proper set up for my Atmotube which pays out in Planets every day. This has been by far my best investment in any crypto related device or service. Once I learned what works and doesn’t work for the Atmotube, it’s been chugging along without any issues! Unfortunately, the internet scalpers have jumped on the Atmotube train and bought up all the devices in order to flip them for 3-4x MSRP. I’m hoping to get my hands on another atmotube when the original supplier gets them back in stock but until then I’m proud of my setup.

Also this month I got my hands on a used 1060 3gb GPU and started using Betterhash. I’ve read some differing opinions on Betterhash vs. Nicehash vs. setting my own miner to a pool but all in all, my desktop miner doesn’t produce enough for me to spend more time than I already have on configuring it so for now, Betterhash’s one click start is good enough for me.

Coin Hunt: $32.66

I got in on Coin Hunt World right before the beta reached capacity for Apple users so for that I am very grateful. I had no idea that I would see these numbers from a seemingly simple yet fun game. I live in small town with no other active players (from what I’ve seen) but plenty of tourists come through here every day. It’s been a slow trudge towards building up and discovering good routes for catching vaults so I hope to increase my payout from this app as I build my vaults and the game gains traction.

Defi: $6.05

This is my payout from my Celsius and Cake Defi accounts. My intro bonus for Cakedefi finally came in so I saw a small jump in my weekly payout. I’ve been experimenting with Ethereum defi mechanics so I hope to bump this up to at least $10 a month to begin with. Until then, I’ve been adding BTC and ETH to my portfolio and putting it where ever possible for more passive growth.

Stock Dividends: $17.03 + $16 Credit Card Reward:

Ever since I discovered and became obsessed with Crypto I’ve drifted further and further away from the traditional stock market. I still put money in each week with the intention of adding to my favorite dividend stocks so that when I’m old and tired of working I can have a nice dividend paycheck each month. Included here is my credit card cash back rewards, I get 5% cashback at different types of businesses each month, clearly July’s choice of businesses was not as rewarding as June’s, alas, I’ll take it.

Staking, Blogging, Play-To-Earn ?:

My largest staking portfolio is in Algorand, I am not sure and I don’t think there is any way to track staking rewards in the native wallet. With blogging, I am coming to the end of my summer term for school and have subsequently lost the time to write as much as I would like so my blogging returns has been minimal. However, I do post to Actifit on the Hive chain regularly and that pays out about $.06 per post. With play-to-earn, my game profiles are still in their infancy so I don’t expect them to cough up any cash flow quite yet.

I am very happy about July’s income! Looking forward, I have been slowly collecting the materials I need to start my own online tea shop. I hope that it will eventually be a steady part of my financial life and I would really enjoy having the possibility to be paid in Crypto. Past that, I’m keeping my eyes open for another Atmotube setup.

All in all, I feel better about July than I did at the end of June. I recognize that I am still very new to Crypto and passive income in general so I’ve had to have some long internal dialogue with myself on continuing to truck forward in order to reach my goals.
