How "Storing" Cryptocurrency Works- Crypto Whiteboard 101


If you're new to cryptocurrency, you might have heard that cryptocurrency is a type of "digital asset" that doesn't exist in physical form and should be stored in a cryptocurrency wallet. However, the term "wallet" can be a bit confusing in that even a cryptocurrency "wallet" doesn't actually store cryptocurrency at all and there is absolutely zero Bitcoin, Ethereum, or any other cryptocurrency actually stored "in" your cryptocurrency wallet. Rather, wallets are a way of storing public and private keys that allow you to access certain funds on the blockchain. If you're a bit confused, then this beginner tutorial is just for you!
