Unmineable Coin Services

I never recommend services such as Unmineable for a few reasons.  If you are unfamiliar these services use your hashing power to mine an actual mineable coin.  Then pay you in the coin of your choice based upon the options their service provides.  This part is legitimate; however, for them to turn a profit your hashing power must bring in more money than they pay out.  This is without exception the case each time.  To put it simply, you are better off mining a coin and either exchanging it directly for the coin you desires or selling it then purchasing the coin desired.  Again there are no exceptions to this rule which which involve sound fiscal policy.

Let us say you ignore what makes sense and decide you really want to give away your money for FREE to get a coin.  Now those services have locked you into very high volumes before they payout and by the time most miners wise up to the scam they are already so committed it is hard to back out.  For example, Shiba Inu is the new darling meme coin of the internet.  If you go to Unmineable you will have to mine 2,000,000 Shib before you get a payout.  At the time of this writing, Shib is selling for $ 0.000028 making 2,000,000 Shib worth around 56 USD.   Sell off a few dollars for a coin your are hodling to make a purchase and keep mining what is most profitable.  If Shib blows up in a few years great and if now you wasted a few dollars instead of many dollar.
