Hi Everyone!
Good morning! I woke up to a hungry kitty again lol. But yesterday was a really good day, I'm so excited to share it with you all. But before I do I wanted to say a big giant THANK YOU!!! Thank you to everyone whose been following along, whose been interacting with my blog posts it means the absolute world! I appreciate it so much! 
Yesterday was again, a very good day. I truly felt the holiday sprit it was such a beautiful feeling. It was exactly what I needed to feel a bit better. Because all day my chronic pain due to my autoimmune diseases was really bad. I was struggling to get out of bed. But I pushed myself, I don't know if that was the right thing to do or not. Sometimes when I push myself, I greatly pay for it later. So far I'm feeling an average amount of pain, nothing intolerable for me. Sadly, I'm used to the pain at this point, but it does get to me sometimes. 
After my morning routine of cointiply and Amazon Mechanical Turk, which by the way if you are interested in either, please feel free to comment down below, I'd be happy to help <3. I got to cleaning the kitchen. My Dad was leaving for his flight to California to be with my Mamma and Grandma Rosemary for a few days, so I wanted to make sure to get the kitchen all nice and clean. 
I was very proud of myself for getting up and getting some chores done. Depression bug can make things like this quite difficult. But something that helps me is playing tiktok videos or listening to a podcast while I do my chores. It helps the time pass by faster. If you're into liberal things and such I highly recommend the podcast "Pick Me Up, I'm Scared" It's an absolutely amazing podcast that I've been loving binging this past year! They've been at it for a few years now so there's plenty of content to binge. 
After my Dad left for California, I decided to jump into the shower. I find that when I shower I feel cleansed of all the negative energies. I always come out feeling so much lighter. It's an amazing feeling. I took a nice shower, pampered myself, put the needed products into my curls and now my hair is looking oh so beautiful! Which really helps to build my confidence. I love having really curly hair, I don't always know what to do with it. But when my curls look good, I feel good. <3
Today for the content I binged it was actually Youtube drama. lol! Sometimes there are days where I sit down and catch up on all Tea Spill has posted recently. What's going on in the world of content creators and their drama. I find it fascinating. And also kind of funny hehe. Don't worry I watch the news every day when I wake up as part of my morning routine. So I'm keeping up with real world issues. But sometimes it's an interesting dive into the world of content creators. Tea Spill and Spill Sesh are my two favorite channels to binge when it comes to the world of drama in the Youtube and TikTok sphere. If you're ever interested in that kind of stuff, you should check them out. 
As I'm sure many of you know yesterday was the big world cup game. Of course my soccer obsessed partner was watching. He went to a viewing with his team in his local area to watch the game. He was texting me throughout the game what was happening. He's too cute! I love to see his passions come out. I find it beautiful. 
I played with my dogs, brought out their toys. They have this favorite chew toy for rough chewers, which they definitely are!! I will link it down below if you're interested. It's been a year with this toy so far and it's still going strong. I took some cute videos of my pugs playing with their favorite chew toy, they were kind and took turns. So adorable!

After hanging out with my pugs for a bit I needed to run some errands downtown to do some holiday shopping. I walked down to the corner boutique downtown and picked up some fun things for the holidays. I had a lovely conversation with one of the ladies who works there. She's so sweet. I've been going in there often lately, they recognize me. Everyone there is so kind <3, it really put a smile on my face to connect with my local community. Plus their hole shop just smelt of Christmas. The Christmas tree smell just illuminated the space, being in there was such a happy feeling. All of the lights, ornaments and adorable little Santa's for sale. So cute! 
Next stop, the local flower shop/boutique. I really love the succulents they have for sale. I'm a plant lover like my Great Grandma Mel <3 I'm learning to take care of them. And I have to say succulents are my favorite. It was really hard to leave that shop without a new plant friend. But I had to remind myself, I walked, I don't have the hands for that. Lol! Plus I was there for my family, not for plants. Keep your head on straight Salem. 
I also have a friend I used to work with, she's a florist. She makes the most gorgeous arrangements!! She's actually the one who gifted me my first plant <3 her name is Robin, so that's what I named the succulent friend she gave me. So I prefer to get my plants from her. But it was still hard to resist. I love plants!!! 
Found some adorable things there that made perfect gifts. Also had another lovely conversation with the lady who worked there as well. All of the businesses in town are filled with the brightest smiles. I wished them all a Happy Holiday season <3 
Went to the market to see my favorite lady who owns the local market. I go in there so often, I get usually the same thing. One day when I went in and didn't pick up part of my usual drink order she looked at me funny, I asked her if she was expecting me to get something else too and she said "Well yes, you always do" hehe. She's another very kind face in the town. I always enjoy going in and checking on her. She works way too hard and I always remind her that she needs help. 
I came home and sat all of my new finds in the pile for me to wrap, which I really got to start doing that. Maybe today will be the day to start. I guess we shall wait and see. 
I had some ice cream I picked up from the market because hashtag treat yo self! I hung out with my precious kitty <3 she gave me all the cuddles but not before she tried to steal my ice cream like she tries to steal all my food. My little pain in the butt! 
I called my Mamma and got to talk to her and my Grandma. My Dad had given them their Christmas presents. I got to be on the phone with them when they opened their presents <3! They loved everything! It made me so happy to treat my family. We've had a very rough year. All I wished for this end of the year was to bring a smile to my loved ones faces. To spend time with them, to give them the love they truly deserve. 
It was then football time. My Dad is a Las Vegas Raiders fan. He has been since birth lol! The game was on and Mamma and Grandma wanted to watch the game with my Dad. Quality time. I wish I was there to spend that time with them. But hopefully soon, I really miss my family. 
But at the end of the day it was an absolutely beautiful day! The holiday season is in the air! I got to talk to my loving family, I did some chores and some self care. I spent time with all of pets, even my snake. Yes I have a snake. Her name is Holo after holographic. She's an albino California King Snake. Absolutely STUNNING! I talk to her, she's a great listener. But she has a temper, so she doesn't get held. But I make sure to still take the best of care of my precious baby. All of my precious babies <3!

I know this time of year is very hard for a lot of people. I hope today though there is something that makes you smile and feel warm inside. Because that's what this season is truly all about. Bringing light into the darkest coldest time of the year. Have some tea or cocoa. Watch a movie that makes you happy, hug a loved one even if it's a pet. Enjoy the day the best you can. You truly deserve it!
