On 28 April 2023, officers executed a search warrant at the Gadcet business in Chatham's High Street and confiscated several crypto ATMs, including one on display.
Habibur Rahman, 37, of Langdon Crescent in East Ham, London, was detained the same day and accused with running the equipment without FCA registration.
He is accused of laundering £300,000 in illegal funds using cryptocurrencies.
Rahman will appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on 10 October on bail.
Crypto ATMs enable consumers to purchase or convert monies into cryptoassets, but the FCA has warned they may be used to launder money.
There are no FCA-registered crypto ATMs.
Director of payments and digital assets Matthew Long said: "We continue to remind people that crypto remains largely unregulated and high risk; if you buy it, you should be prepared to lose all your money."
