Bitcoin (BTC) rose over 8% as buyers tried to break the $100,000 psychological obstacle, and the frenzy spread to altcoins.Stellar Dogecoin and Cardano shined this week.
Stellar rose 190% in the previous week, reaching $0.4436, its 40-month high, giving it the best-performing asset among the top 100 cryptocurrencies, according to CoinGecko.
Stellar gained most of these gains on Nov. 23 when the Federal Reserve said it may power the blockchain component of its FedNow payment system.
The analyst indicated that a break above the neckline, linking Adam and Eve's peaks, at $0.8756, its all-time high on Jan. 3, 2018, may drive its price to $5, approximately 1030% over the present price level.
Independent analyst Javon Marks said a breakthrough above prior highs might lead to 52.2% more potential. Dogecoin's immediate goal range is $0.65–$1.25, according to Marks.
As its price is reaching the upper Bollinger Band at $0.5084 and its Relative Strength Index has risen over 82, the asset is overbought, suggesting a retreat.
Cardano has recovered over the previous week, breaking $1 for the first time since April 2022.
The cryptocurrency rose 43.7% in the previous week to $1.08. Its daily trading volume has increased 86% to $8.1 billion, indicating market activity.
Whales began acquiring altcoin in the previous two days, causing most of these gains. Whale holding netflow increased 220% from $54.1 million on Nov. 20 to $77.2 million on Nov. 22, according to IntoTheBlock.
