Personally, I still see Medium as an elite and competitive place. Because they did stupid things in the past and made people get memberships, and after their last update, they opened it to 77 countries.

When I applied to the platform, I filled out the tax form according to the country I live in.The money I earn from here is not nearly much, but I am looking at this platform for the long term.

The new CEO of Medium indicated that this platform is not a location where you can earn a complete salary.
