After officials delayed 72 days to take his crypto wallet login data and electronic gadgets, Do Kwon reportedly made multiple bitcoin payments from a Montenegro jail.

According to Portal ETV, the disgraced Terra founder was detained on March 23, 2023, but the investigating judge didn't get his electronic gadgets until June.

A Montenegro Special Police Department officer told Portal ETV that jail prisoners were searched and discovered computers, mobile phones, crypto wallet login data, and “other codes for accessing the blockchain.”

In detention, Do conducted at least three bitcoin transactions using his crypto wallet, according to two sources. They apparently came from a Podgorica mobile telephony account. These reported transactions were not confirmed by Portal ETV.

According to Montenegro's National Security Agency (ANB), Do's gadgets were taken after the Minister of Police and Police Directorate ordered “everything that should have been confiscated on the first day of arrest.”

After an international arrest order in September 2022, Do went to Serbia before Montenegro. According to Portal ETV, public pressure in late 2022 and early 2023 about Serbia sheltering a crypto fraudster drove him out.

Do was reportedly taken from Belgrade to Montenegro by Serbia's state security to fly him to a Middle Eastern nation with low extradition procedures. Sources said Do's arrest was planned and Montenegro's border police knew about his phony passports.

According to the post, Do's phone, which police took upon his detention, switched on when a hidden tunnel to the High Court evidence room was found. Authorities apparently did not probe the coincidence or suspicious incident.

Montenegro's justice minister has yet to approve Do's extradition to South Korea or the US.
