North Korean cybercriminals are launching a sophisticated new virus operation that they have termed "Hidden Risk" with the intention of targeted bitcoin firms. Get an understanding of how this covert assault operates, the methods that are used, and the ways in which you may defend yourself from this expanding danger.

SentinelOne's findings, which were shared with Hackread.com, indicate that State-sponsored Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) organization 'BlueNoroff' is conducting a campaign known as 'Hidden Risk' with the intention of attacking cryptocurrency-related firms.

BlueNoroff, a subset of the wider North Korean state-backed Lazarus Group, is purportedly targeting cryptocurrency and decentralized finance organizations via a campaign that uses email and PDF-based lures with false news headlines and crypto-related content. This information was reportedly uncovered by threat researchers working for SentinelLabs.
