Deutsche Telekom is the first telecom firm to deploy an NEAR Protocol validator.
Deutsche Telekom AG, the world's fifth-largest telecom firm by sales, joined the NEAR ecosystem's Enterprise Node Operators initiative to boost network decentralization and security.
Deutsche Telekom stated it would play a “key role” in the blockchain's functioning as a validator as part of the NEAR ecosystem's institutional orientation in a Nov. 11 press release.
Deutsche Telekom director of digital trust & web3 infrastructure Oliver Nyderle termed the partnership “promising and innovative,” adding that the network shares the company's commitment “towards greater data sovereignty and user data control for the benefit of the users.”
German telecom operator says NEAR partnership enhances its “staking portfolio” to include “decentralized AI and scalability” network. Deutsche Telekom did not indicate its degree of network validation.
The minimum stake to become a block-producing validator on the NEAR Protocol is frequently the “seat price” from the 100th highest validator proposal. The network's documentation states that validator involvement dynamically sets the barrier, with the absolute minimum being 67,000.
(around $383,000 market price). NEAR rose 9.5% to $5.6 on the announcement.
The agreement comes days after Deutsche Telekom subsidiary MMS and Germany's second-oldest bank, Bankhaus Metzler, began a trial initiative to examine using excess renewable energy for Bitcoin mining to collect field data to stabilize Germany's energy system.
Note:I think what I did on Publishox is Thread Intelligence. (What I wrote shows this and I think I decided to do a master's degree in digital marketing. When I searched the internet, it is necessary to fill the digital marketing gap on cryptocurrencies. Nonsense coin shilling needs to be stopped.)
I'm releasing an album soon
