Investor Confidence Wanes—Will Ethereum Price Plunge After Record ETF Redemptions?

ETHE's 2.5% fee, compared to BlackRock's ETHA's 0.25%, continues to drive heritage holders out. The large GBTC unwind that dragged on Bitcoin earlier this year is similar.

BlackRock's ETHA posted $68.27 million in daily inflows, although its redemptions and other inflows have strained confidence.

Net ETF assets are approaching $19.15 billion, 5.2% of Ethereum's market value. Traders can see that structural demand is rising, but ETHE outflows are the biggest headache.

While institutional interest for ETH exposure continues, particularly through BlackRock, Fidelity, and Bitwise, the movement away from ETHE has created an uneven demand profile that ETH must overcome before a prolonged recovery.

In summary, the ETF landscape is improving, but the recovery is uneven and appears on the charts.

SEC's Hester Peirce Supports Crypto Self-Custody, Financial Privacy

Crypto self-custody is a core freedom, according to US Securities and Exchange Commission Commissioner Hester Peirce, who is fighting the growing suspicion of financial transaction privacy.

Peirce called herself a “freedom maximalist” on The Rollup podcast and said that middlemen should not control assets.

“Of course people can hold their own assets,” she replied, wondering why that principle is problematic in a free democracy.

Peirce also criticized a cultural movement toward viewing financial privacy as a red flag. She said privacy should be the norm, not a sign of guilt.

“If you want to keep your transactions private, the assumption shouldn't be that you're doing something illegal,” she said. “The opposite should be true.”

US crypto legislation remains unknown, prompting her comments.

Ether May Rise 7% on Low Stablecoin Yields More Positive: Santiment

The business claimed low stablecoin yields suggest Ether might revisit $3,200 in a Saturday report.

Low yields—4%. Santiment noted that Ether was trading near $3,001 at the time of the study, indicating that the market has not struck a major top and could still rise.

According to CoinMarketCap, the aim is about 7% more than $2,990.

Santiment tracks major crypto lending protocol yields, where interest rates may represent market leverage.

According to the business, stablecoin returns are between 3.9% and 4.5%, indicating little borrowing demand.

Yield increases have historically accompanied speculative excess and trend reversals, so today's low levels indicate managed risk-taking.

Ether fell more than 21% in the past month as part of a digital asset selloff.

After a $19 billion liquidation event on Oct. 10, US President Donald Trump's proposal of sweeping tariffs on Chinese goods exacerbated the decline.
