Post-CZ pardon, Binance founder's attorney denies pay-to-play
Guillén called corruption claims “a pile-up of a lot of false statements, misstatements, sometimes assumptions.”
She advised reporters to verify their sources and emphasized that media outlets mention other media reports without evidence.
“You'll see a media report, citing a media report, and there's no basis for it other than sources that are close to somebody, which is code for a weak source,” Guillén said.
The attorney denied that World Liberty Financial is “Trump’s company,” saying she had no proof.
Guillén addressed allegations about World Liberty Financial's Binance stablecoin USD-1.
“Just because I list something on Craigslist, it doesn’t mean I have some special relationship with the former Craigslist CEO,” she remarked.
Guillén noted that BitMEX and former CEO Arthur Hayes were pardoned. Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht was pardoned.
We've pardoned persons, companies, and juridical people since our country's founding in England, she remarked.
Pardons have always encompassed criminal and civil violations for individuals and companies, the attorney said.
Arthur Hayes gives market makers $2.5M in ETH and tokens: Has he bought ZEC?

Transactions rise ahead of Granite upgrade; will AVAX price rebound?
Avalanche token repeatedly held $15.67, a crucial support since March. Its market cap fell from $13 billion to $6.7 billion since November.
Avalanche pricing will be in the limelight this week when the network updates the Granite mainnet, which has been on the Fuji testnet for months.
Granite introduces major improvements and is one of its biggest enhancements. It will offer biometric authentication, cross-chain messaging, and configurable block timings for speedier transactions.
