Ember Fund was founded in 2018 by Alex Wang, Guillaume Torche, and Mario Lazaro based Los Angeles, California. Their vision is “to create a web3 super app that offers an engaging and accessible platform for acquiring Bitcoin through an ecosystem uniting earning, playing, and investing. Ember aims to empower millions globally more meaningfully interact with crypto.” They have over 5 investors and have raised $5.3 million.
You do not have to put any money into the app to take advantage of it. You can “mine” Bitcoin to earn a little bit of sats per hour and if you invite people that per hour can increase. I’m pretty sure this is just fueled by ads on the platform. You can participate in free tournaments for a chase at the tournament’s pot. They have micro tasks and minigames such as playing new games for free to earn.
