The Shopify company recently partnered with Coinpayments, to implement the possibility of using cryptocurrencies as a payment method within its online stores!

CoinPayments is a payment processor that allows merchants to accept Bitcoin and hundreds of altcoins in their store through easy to use plugins, APIs and POS interfaces. With over 2.2 million users across 182 countries around the world, CoinPayments.net is most comprehensive multi-cryptocurrency platform available online.

Thanks to the partnership, one million companies in hundreds of countries around the world will have the opportunity to accept cryptocurrencies natively. In addition, thanks to CoinPayments, Shopify customers will be able to pay in over 1800 different cryptocurrencies.

This is an unstoppable combination, said CoinPayments CEO Jason Butcher:

The combination of Shopify and CoinPayments is unstoppable in the payments industry. By combining our simple global crypto-payment platform and Shopify's vast merchant base, we hope to offer a complete service for anyone who wants to do business with cryptocurrencies. As a leader in e-commerce and crypto payments, our combined experience represents the future of commercial transactions.

Another step forward towards the mass adoption of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
