We all know that weird little critter living in the back of the cryptocurrency woods - EOS. EOS is to decentralized applications what teleportation is to the fat superhero - practical. Basically calling itself the most powerful infrastructure for decentralized applications which is not far from the truth, this puppy gets the job done.

A visual representation of EOS
With a rising interest in implementing blockchain technology and increasing information decentralization from the side of businesses around the world, EOS, is the new - not yet too well known tool to help. Couple this baby that's working wonders for helping people building dApps with ChainLink and you've got yourself a winning combination. Be it from necessity or just following the trend, more and more businesses (and not just startups) are going for dApps development, and EOS is arguably the best decentralized system at the moment to do this with.
Now then, let's go through the top 5 dApps utilizing the power of EOS.
5. OracleChain
OracleChain is an honorable mention. But, this would have to be mentioned first, since it's the world's first application built on an EOS system. What the hell is OracleChain? Well, the simple answer is it's a random numbers generator. That's it. There is no complex answer. That is all you get. It generates numbers. But get this - it does it on the commercial level. Fancy, right?

Okay, there actually are a few good practical applications to the OracleChain dApp, but I wouldn't really get into it right now. Instead I'll just link in their homepage and let you figure out the rest.
4. Prospectors
This is the first MMORTES game built on the EOS blockchain. It's basically a game in a world set during the gold rush. You mine gold, you earn cash and you are also earning cryptocurrency that you can cash out for real. Oh, and get this. You can buy a bank. A FREAKING BANK. WHERE YOU MAKE MONEY FROM OTHER PEOPLE. Not that I would do that. But it sounds interesting. *Don't play this game if you are easily corruptible.*

3. BlockBase
This is plain and simple - a database builder. But instead of a normal database, you can build a much more secure database with the power of blockchain taking care of that. That's it. Moving on.

2. EOSBet
This is (as you can already tell from the name) a blockchain casino. And it's not just any blockchain casino. This my friends, is a gambling dApp that has a full blooded, full blast, full throttle, online gambling licence from Curaçao. I know, right? You are still going to lose your life savings...but it can also flaunt its online blockchain gambling licence in your face after they are done. Well, I am sold. Gonna go and gamble my house away now, don't wait up.

Oh, it should also probably be mentioned that they were hacked about a year ago. But this didn't really affect their number of users at all. It seems someone's popular.
1. Everipedia
Okay, so this one is a really cool project, I've got to admit. It's basically a decentralized Wikipedia. And I am pretty sure at the moment it has surpassed the actual Wikipedia by number or articles in English by now. At the moment, Everipedia has more than 6 million article entries and that number keeps on growing. Honestly, I like both the design, the idea (which is in fact just an online encyclopedia, but it's a blockchain based one) and the content of Everipedia. I can definitely see it becoming a wildly popular, widely used source of information, very soon.

I hope you liked the article. I will be sure to make another one on some more EOS dApps in near future.
Cheers!
Stay awesome.
