The last couple of weeks I have been gearing up to move to Washinton DC. While it has been an exciting time due to COVID it has been extremely stressful at the same time! This evening on Christmas I got a call from my friend/roommate about our upcoming move....

At first we were moving Monday the 28th and would be in DC on December 30th. This quickly changed to we were leaving Tuesday and arriving the 31st. With there being 3 vehicles, a Uhual and 6 people going made the most sense since they wanted to get there the 31st and not the 30th. This has been the plan for the last week or so until this evening. 

This evening my roommate was told “oh no we are going to leave Monday” and arrive the 31st. For some reason it appears we are going to spend 4 days on the road. What’s has really throwin a wrench in the plan is that the Uhual will be loaded up tomorrow and not Monday. I have most of my stuff packed up but still plenty was left unpacked so I would have it the next few days! Well now a mad dash has begun to finish up everything.

My poor roommate is super stressed and running around at his apartment trying to get his stuff done and I am not far behind him! I also scheduled Dr. appointments on Monday and now might have to travel back to Texas to attend them at a later date. It’s a huge mess which just goes hand in hand with the pandemic and 2020 overall.
