The Financial Conduct Authority(FCA) - the financial regulatory body in the United Kingdom- has introduced a new regulation for all authorized investment firms offering crypto-derivatives. The new regulation requires firms to cease any activities including marketing, distribution, or selling of the crypto-derivatives to clients by the 6th of January 2021.

How does this affect the crypto market?

It has been always a war between the governments and the crypto community for the last decade. But statistically, more black money and money laundering happening outside the crypto world for the same time. There are few dark web cases but that is not the whole of it.

I think, all the Forex brokers who are registered in UK may have issues.

I am not sure about the nonusable crypto holding like paypal or Revolut will be affected?

What do you think?
