Let's face it, the legend that iPhones are overpriced may not be a legend. In this article we compare the lastly released iPhone 12 with other mobile phones with comparable or better hardware. So, you basically pay for using iOS, one could say. How much is iOS worth?

The processor chip is an Apple A14 Bionic, with a power of 2x 2.65 GHz Firestorm + 4x 1.8 GHz. It has 6 GB of RAM.
Last but not least, the price, a whopping €1289,00 here in Italy.
Lets compare it with Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. The processor is a Snapdragon 730G, with a power of 8x 2.2 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of expandible memory, a screen of 6,47" with a resolution of 2340 x 1080, five cameras, the main onehas 108 megapixels of resolution, and it was launces in late 2019. The price? Just €399.00 So why should I pay for a technology of the last year three times more than its value market? Is just the software and the coolness of the iPhone worth €889,00?
