Hey frens, it’s RafiOnChain again.
After enough late-night panic sessions, lost tokens, random pump-chasing, and a couple of close-call scams—I figured it’s time I share something truly useful:
The tools that saved my crypto journey.
Not the hyped ones. Not the influencer-shilled ones. Just the tools I genuinely use and trust to keep me sane (and slightly richer).
Let’s dive in. This list isn’t sponsored—it’s from the trenches. 🫡
🔐 1. Revoke.cash — My Security Lifeline
This tool is my personal bodyguard. After getting close to a scam airdrop (yes, it was on Telegram… I know 🙈), I found Revoke.cash.
It lets you see all your token and NFT approvals, and more importantly, revoke them before things go south.
🔎 My habit:
I bookmark the page and check it every Sunday. Wallet security = peace of mind.
🦊 2. MetaMask + Phantom — The OG Combo
I started with MetaMask, like most people. Then I discovered Phantom while dipping into Solana. Together, they became my day-to-day toolkit.
📝 Pro tip:
Use separate wallets for DeFi, NFTs, and random experiments.
That one time I signed a shady NFT mint from my main wallet still haunts me…
📊 3. Zapper & Debank — The Dashboard Kings
There was a time when I had tokens spread across 6 chains and no clue what I actually owned. Zapper and Debank brought order to the chaos.
I personally use Zapper for its smooth interface and Debank when I want deeper DeFi data.
They helped me track down an old $OP position I’d forgotten about. That was a good day 😄.
🪂 4. Airdrop Trackers (But Only the Smart Ones)
I used to follow every airdrop thread until I clicked one too many sketchy links.
Now, I only follow @AirdropOfficial, @DeFiLlama’s Airdrops tab, and sometimes check Galxe for ongoing quests.
🧠 Tip from me:
Use a Notion doc or simple Google Sheet. Track what quests you’ve done, what chains you’ve bridged to, and when. Trust me—it saves brainpower.
🎮 5. Layer3 & Zealy — My Web3 XP Farms
Gamified tasks + legit rewards = I’m in.
I started doing Layer3 and Zealy quests casually but got hooked after earning a few NFTs and even getting shortlisted for a testnet token.
These platforms taught me real skills too: using new dApps, testing protocols, exploring L2s.
Think of them as Web3 playgrounds where your time pays off.
🧾 6. Dune & Token Terminal — When I Want to Nerd Out
I’m not a full-time analyst, but sometimes I go on a rabbit hole spree. Dune lets me see cool dashboards like “Top Airdrop Wallets” or “Daily Ethereum Gas Burn.”
Token Terminal? That’s where I go when I want to pretend I’m a serious investor. It shows actual revenue and user metrics—aka, real data to back up your bags.
💬 7. Crypto Twitter (X) — The Wild West
Yes, it’s noisy. Yes, it’s chaotic. But if you curate your feed well, X is where alpha lives.
A few I trust:
-
@0xfoobar (tech + wit)
-
@punk6529 (macro Web3 philosophy)
-
@TheDeFiEdge (DeFi simplified)
Just mute the shills. And never click links in unknown replies—ever.
🎒 Bonus: My Workflow (How I Keep Sane)

🧘♂️ Mindset Tip
Don’t chase every new tool. Stick with a core stack. Try new things slowly, with burner wallets.
🚧 Lessons from the Field
-
Don’t rely on memory. Use spreadsheets or Notion.
-
Security first. One reckless signature can cost you everything.
-
Gamify your journey. It’s a marathon. Keep it fun, or you’ll burn out.
